Jamboree Band
Do you play a musical instrument? We'd love to have you be part of the Jamboree Band! We're gathering a group of talented Scouts (youth and adult) to perform a selection of patriotic songs during lunch on Saturday at the Jamboree. This is a fun opportunity to share your musical talents, meet other Scout musicians, and help make the event even more memorable. - Music will be provided in advance so you can practice ahead of time
- We'll come together for a group rehearsal at Jamboree before the performance

Jamboree Patch Contest
Got creativity? Show us what you've got! Design the official patch for the 2026 Samoset Jamboree and leave your mark on this unforgettable event. Whether you're an experienced artist or just love to draw, this is your chance to have your artwork showcased for Scouts across the council.

Service Opportunity Needed

It’s time for our annual Popcorn Sale—Scouting’s premier fundraiser and a great opportunity for our Scouts to grow! Through both “Show & Sell” events at local storefronts and traditional take-order sales, Scouts build confidence, practice communication skills, and learn the value of earning their way.
Show & Sell Opportunities: - July 27: Orders due for pickup the week of Aug 10. Location TBD.
- August 24: Orders due for pickup the week of Sep 14. Locations TBD.
The take-order portion of the sale runs from September 19 through October 18, with all orders due October 20.
Proceeds from popcorn sales help fund unit activities, camp experiences, and essential program resources—making Scouting more accessible and impactful for everyone. Thank you for supporting our Scouts and helping them develop lifelong skills!

Wood Badge is Scouting's premier leadership experience for all Scout Leaders. If you have been looking for a way to take your adult leadership skills to the next level, this is it! This is not outdoor skills training, this is developing your personal skills of group leadership. The course is 5 days over two weekends.

| | | | | | Safeguarding Youth Refresher Training
The new Safeguarding Youth Refresher Training has launched and will help you renew this annual required training. If you have completed the full Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT) course and it is currently active or has expired within the last 7 days, you are eligible to take the Refresher Training. If your full SYT training has been expired for 7 days or more, you will need to complete the full Safeguarding Youth Course again before receiving credit. Participants taking the Refresher Training must successfully pass the exam on the first attempt to receive credit for the Y01 training code. If the exam is not passed, the system will automatically route you to the full Safeguarding Youth Course to ensure a complete review of the material. Once the refresher exam is failed, the refresher course cannot be relaunched, and the full course must be completed.
